Человек в футляре by Антон Павлович Чехов (1860 - 1904).
This project is complete and all audio files can be found be in the catalogue:
https://librivox.org/chelovekvfutliare-by-anton-chekhov/

The author draw a cartoon character in the center of the inner story of his nested structure work. He was so frightened of the authorities and loved to live with restrictions that he terrorised all the citizens of a small provintial town. When a new teacher and his sister come, "the man in a case" has to face the reality which he had been evading so hard.
Although, the main character Ivan Ivanych of a shell story sometimes gets opposite receptions.

    1. Is there a deadline?
We ask that you submit your recorded sections within 1-2 months of placing your claim. Please note that to be fair to the readers who have completed their sections in a timely way, if you haven't submitted your recording(s) after two months, your sections will automatically be re-opened for other readers to claim, unless you post in this thread to request an extension. Extensions will be granted at the discretion of the Book Coordinator. If you cannot do your section, for whatever reason, just let me know and it'll go back to the pool. There's no shame in this; we're all volunteers and things happen. Please do not sign up for more sections than you can complete within the two month deadline.
    2. How to claim a part, and "how it all works" here
To find a section to record, simply look at point 5. below at the sections. All the ones without names beside them are "up for grabs." Click "Post reply" at the top left of the screen and tell us which section you would like to read (include the section number from the left-most column in the reader list, please). Read points 6. to 8. below for what to do before, during and after your recording.
    3. New to recording?
Please read our Newbie Guide to Recording!

I've set you up with a Magic Window! I have given it plenty of sections if you need to have sections for each character's recordings for each part of the story.
In the end we'll keep only the assembled recordings, and I will delete the rest of the sections.

Since this is the first time you are a Book Coordinator, please feel free to ask any questions, though with kazbek by your side, this project will go well :D

Ha, I'm happy to lend my gravitas to this project. But, seriously, Hanna has more experience with LV drama than me!

Yeah, I've done some supporting roles))) Are you ok with both PL jobs or should we advertise for one of them (parts PL for example)?

Could we possibly advertise our project at Editors wanted and Readers wanted threads already?

I can PL as needed. If we are short of readers, I can pick up one of the parts, and then we would need to invite someone else to do the final PL.

Are you sure we need to look for an editor? I'd say we can manage that part ourselves...

I have moved us to Readers Wanted, Languages other than English.
I suggest spreading out the sections so that each character gets a section for every part of the story they're in, to fit all recordings, for example Burkin would have five sections for his recordings of the five parts.

Michael, are you offering to edit?

Well, my idea was to assemble Russian speaking people and have fun, also thinking of those who cannot record for any reasons. That's why I want to advertise for an editor. If nobody volunteers I will add dramatic editing (hopefully not too dramatic for me))) to my skill list:)
No, I don't want to burden Michael with this job, he's been too kind already)

In that case, I suggest advertising for an editor when everything is ready for editing. Dramatic readings take so long, that a person who volunteers to edit now, might not be available when the time comes.

Well, it sounds like Hanna and I have the same approach to LV volunteering: try to get as many people involved as we can, and stand by to help as needed. :D

Yes, that's reasonable) Let's do as you suggest)
