PL Notes Section 14 Mining

Such an interesting chapter. Thanks for a nice reading. America is indeed the land of plenty, which it took an influx of European immigrants to discover.

A few items:
3:38 and works his wonderous will, you say sovereign
14:46 I am monarch of all the forges, you say more-nark (sounds like a person's name)
24:00 a total of $385,000,000, you said 38 million, 500 thousand, and this is repeated "38 million dollars, or 7 million 700 pounds"
35:21 Hoat, it will make. Delete hoat
41:01 and now the Republic dwarfs her, you say leads her
42:03 but either of these is insignificant, you say neither (I'm not sure if they both amount to the same thing, leaving it to you to decide)

First item: I am sending you via email a screen shot of where I found the word "Sovereign" and another shot of where the $38 million 55 thousand and million and 700 pounds.

This is why we read ONLY from the text cited in the project. There can be several editions floating around. I will check out your edits tomorrow.

I responded that you should read from the text given in the First Post of the project, which is:
https://archive.org/details/triumphantdemoc00carniala/mode/2up
Your screenshot reveals that you were reading from another text.

At a minimum, please address the second correction and remove the repeat.

May I entice you to take on another section?
Michele,

Even though it has been almost two months, I would be interested in again assisting with this project. I noted that "Religion" may be free in a few days, and if it is, I would like to claim it. Just let me know, and I will get on it.

Thanks,

Wayne

I sincerely apologize that it took so very long! I am really really sorry. This is my first recording and I did a million mistakes (and was even unclever enough to repeat some of them  ). So I hope this works. Let me know what needs to be changed.

Section 9 Chapter 7 Religion is uploaded, 20:04min: https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/triumphantdemocracy_09_carnegie_128kb.mp3

Sorry, Michele, that you thought I was gone forever and Kalamareader I hope you find another interesting chapter or project (unless my reading is so bad that it can't be used - then of course you are very welcome to read this chapter  ).

For the catalog you can use Ann-Nika R. with a hyphen if possible.

PL Notes Section 9 - Religion
Congrats on your first recording for Librivox. This is a highly thought provoking chapter, and you read it very well.

Only a few items that could use your attention:

15:39 a hundred gin palaces, you say places
16:49 you say "if the state Church of England", delete state

I have added your name into our catalog, which only needs doing once.
