If you can direct me to a capable website to help clutsy American monoglots it would be MOST appreciated.
I can direct you to this recording Tom

It's a bit muffled, but I hope you understand. I read it in normal speed and slowed down word-by-word.
Hope this helps!
Many thanks for the quite understandable and helpful pronunciation guide for that, to me, challenging bit of French. I would love to have an equally helpful (and patient) online resource for French words when I come across them.

So, here is my attempt to apply your pronunciation guidance, duration is 19mm28ss:

Hi there and welcome to LV and to this project! :D

I have pencilled you in for section 5 (great choice!), but please do your test before you start recording "for real". It's more of a soundcheck, really, to make sure your equipment can handle all the recording you're going to do here.

Your welcome mail has more info about the 1-Minute-Test. Please post it over in "Listeners and Editors Wanted" and get back to me once you have your [OK]. I'll hold your section for a month to do that.

While you're busy with your test, you can also think of a catalog name; if you're going to say a name in your recordings, that's a good choice (so that your fans can find you), but it can be pretty much anything, really.

Anyway, test first, and then: Have fun!
Cheers, Ava.

Great reading voice! I really enjoyed it Donovan!
Only 1 note, at the very end - the outro. I hear "end section 5" and it goes as "end OF section 5". You're missing the "of", please add it it, and post it again!

Best,
Ana

9min 10secs

Hello there! You sound very nice! I enjoyed it!
Only a few things, before it's good to go.

There is a very long pause form 0:24 - 0:27, please edit out at least 2 seconds here.

And two optional things:
4:18 and 4:58 - At these 2 spots, the text goes "Mr." and I hear "Dr."

And the Note at the beginning (0:24) and the outro (8:58) are a bit quieter than the rest, just in case you would like to play with the amplifier at Audacity.

Please address these and send it in again :)

Best,
