Aww...too bad this is the only one but thank you (possibly) keeping at least one atheist project running at time.
I hereby volunteer to take the next orphan that you have BUT if you don't want me to "pre-claim" - no worries. I'll do my best to check in with Librivox daily and snag it on my own ... if I don't, well, there are so many things worthy of reading, aren't there?

I have uploaded section 20 and orphaned 5 other sections whose claimants didn't return since September.
I hope there's something for you, Jennifer
It may be a bit tight for brand new claimers in this project, but I'd love to bring this into the catalog this year if possible.
Thanks for your help!

Super! I will claim section 6 and after I have recorded it, claim another if there are still some available!

Great! I waited for you to take you pick, but now we'll be moving over to "Readers Wanted" for a while.
Cheers, Ava.

4 sections assigned, thank you all!
As I said, it would be really cool if we could finish this project this year, so a turnaround within a month would be just perfect.
Thank you!

Here's section 53:

(13.40)
Weezer, I'm afraid that I asked for it before you posted, so I went for it.

"I think, therefore I am, I think." Solomon Cohen, in Terry Pratchett's Dodger
Now, that was a fast turnaround!
Thank you Peter!
With that speed, I'll better start looking for a successor for this project.

I have a Kindle edition of George Foote, which I'm gradually working my way through. It's called "George Foote: six works collection: Arrows of Freethought; Bible Romances; Flowers of Freethought (1&2); Prisoner for Blasphemy; Reminiscences of Charles Bradlaugh"
If we can find the texts online, we still have lots of his work to read!
BTW, I hope I pronounced Mr Bradlaugh's name right in my recording, as he has a whole book devoted to him. I guessed at "Bradley".

All of Foote's books you mention are on gutenberg (plus a few more) and we already have the "Prisoner for Blasphemy" in our catalog.
I was thinking of perhaps introducing our LibriVoxers to another freethinker/atheist. Now that I've looked through gutenberg, there is so much to read, and many of the projects there are pretty short.
I'm wondering if I should trouble myself making a "list of books on atheism / by freethinkers" in our book suggestions forum to inspire others to read stuff as well.

Lovely reading Adam! Thank you!adamhope wrote: ↑November 6th, 2020, 6:04 am Hi, I have read section 45, 9m06s.
Still very new to this so I hope it is ok.

Sorry it took me so long.
Only 2 notes to smooth things out:
>00:19, the recording doesn't quite match the wording of the Intro. I hear "second edition" and the intro goes "second series". Please correct this so we can have a consistency of the recordings.
>00:27, the note marked with *, should be read right after the title. Please record it, and add it here.
Cheers,
Ana
