Hi Phil -

Sorry for the delay - I am in the middle of planning a funeral and I forgot to upload the file yesterday.

Here is Section 3 - https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/soapbubblestories_03_barry_128kb.mp3

Corrected title and uploaded as requested. Many apologies to all, especially Lynda, whose file was overwritten.

I am sorry but this file starts with you saying "chapter 3" and ends with you saying "end of Chapter 3" could you please listen to it and change it to say "Chapter 1"? Then upload it again? thanks.
Will do, as soon as possible. Probably over the weekend. Life has been "interesting" - as the Chinese blessing has it.

This file seems to be empty. When I try to save it, it says 'no file'. Also the file name should not have the 58 inside my name. This file seems to be causing a lot of trouble for you, eh? Please be sure that when you get to the part of the intro right before starting the story, where we say "Chapter 1" that it says "chapter 1" and not 'chapter 3' . Don't worry we will get this!

I still hear "chapter 3" right before you start the story. The beginning is fine, but when you get to that part it still has 'chapter3".

^ This cannot be blamed on the Troll; it was I who forgot that we repeat the chapter # again at the outset.

Sperego,

Perfect! Here are my additional PL notes:

-The volume is too loud at 93.7 dB. To adjust the volume in Audacity, select the whole recording. Click Effect > Amplify. In the Amplification box, enter the number -4.7 dB. Verify that the file is around 89 dB using Checker.

-There is a repeat at 06:20 ("The next morning, the . . . the flowers . . .").

-There is a misreading at 07:27 ("She had gone to console other struggling workers.")

Please make the corrections listed above and upload a final file for spot PL (use the same file name). Thanks so much.
https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/soapbubblestories_09_128kb.mp3 I should have done :) thx!
Hi there! Did you upload the wrong file? There are still mistakes in the one and the volume is too high.
