This is section 34 with excess silence at the end removed. Thanks for your patience.

Please don't hate me...but one final, tiny tiny note on this: there's a small typo in your filename. The "b" is missing from the "128kb". Other than that, we're golden!

I know some of these editing / LV standard things can get a little frustrating at first - but, little mistakes are the best way to learn the ropes, I think. You're doing great so far!
christinepeterson wrote: September 5th, 2020, 6:11 pm Hi again! I would like to take section 32 please? This is really fun!
Absolutely! Thank you!

Oh my goodness, oh dear. Hahaha, no need to apologize! I was fine til I started 'fixing' things.
I love a steep learning curve.

Here are my first three assignments, just to make sure I've got the hang of what's happening here.

Thank you for these! I've added all but one to the MW and marked them ready for PL - but it looks like there may have been some wires crossed somewhere with Section 32, Hidden Sorrows.

I'm not finding your claim for that section in the thread, and unfortunately another reader picked it up earlier this evening. I do have you down for Section 30 though...maybe something got mixed up there?

I'm still pretty new to the BC gig, so if you have any thoughts on what might have happened and / or best practices to get us all back on the same page, I'm totally open to suggestions :)

0:52 - There's a repeat of the title during the ending silence. Once that's been removed, double check that the ending silence is still at 5 seconds and you'll be PL OK.

length 00:51 seconds, and done.

Grandeur should be ready for PL, Tuesdays night

So much smoke here in S California, 3 large fires near me are making air quality horrible. Hopefully this is ok. I'm taking a couple days voice rest and I'm very grateful not to be close to any danger and praying for those who are!

Oh! I see that silverquill has already submitted section 32. Well, it's fine with me if you use his! He did record it first. :D

Thanks for the edit!

Looks like you accidentally cut off part of the "End of Poem" message on this one at 0:31 - if you can tidy that up & reupload we should be all set!

Thanks for this! Keep safe out there.

I think we'll use your version for this project, as you did have the claim.

One small thing though - you've got another small typo in the filename (you have "128kbm" rather than "128kb"). I've learned since last time that we can actually fix that on our end, so no need to reupload this time, but it's something to keep an eye on going forward :)

Silverquill - I'd hate for your version of Hidden Sorrows to go to waste. How would you feel about possibly submitting it for the Short Poetry collection instead?
