I'm going to step in and help, at least temporarily. Arden, I'll sign you up. Can you handle the Greek?
I should be able to handle the Greek. I definitely shied away from attempting the pronunciation of it last I came across it here, but now I am more confident. Any recommendations for pronunciation resources?
I'll have to have a look. Cross your fingers.
I've found three places helpful:
LibriVox foreign language speakers
An explanation of Greek pronunciation
An extensive list of resources
Best wishes!

Hi!

Can I claim Section Two: Biographical Note?

I'd like to appear under the name ck2295 (this is my first recording for LibriVox).

Thanks!

I am so sorry for the delay in replying to you. Unfortunately, the coordinator of this book has been absent. I am assigning the section to you though. Since this would be your first recording, we suggest you try our 1-minute test, explained here: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test Thanks!

A nice reading! You'll have to re-upload your file, however. The sampling rate must be 44.1kHz. While you're at it, please add as a closing: End of Section 12. Also, please shorten the length of silence at the end of your reading to five seconds.
Done - let me know if this is all good now :) https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/essaysofschopenhauer_12_schopenhauer_128kb.mp3
I don't know if I ever confirmed that Section 12 is now PL OK! It is!

Hello SS, [edit: Hi Leni!]

I'd love to volunteer for section 4. This is only the second time I've recorded; I hope that's ok.

Sincerely,
A

Hello All,

I've finished section 4.

https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/essaysofschopenhauer_04_schopenhauer_128kb.mp3

(He sure does use a lot of untranslated French, Latin, and Greek, for someone who claims to write only what's necessary... :P )

Edit: the length of this recording is 30:12! Thanks Leni.
