Huge thanks, Anne. I don't know why the link to section 2 refused to enter the mw. Will try again shortly.

It's there now.

PL notes for section 1 and 2
Nice reading without reading mistakes. Both files have file naming errors - amethyst is spelled incorrectly in both
Section 01 needs to be 01 not 1. The file names are always really important as when the files go to Internet Archive for storage they are sorted alphabetically . If the are not correct they will play out of order.
There is a noticable background noise which you should be able to reduce - I notice your test had the same - are you able to noise clean it bit ?

Anne

Section 7 PL OK! If you are doing noise-cleaning you could reduce the amount a bit in future recordings - I detect some distortion.

Studies in Stagecraft, by Clayton Hamilton - More essays on / criticism of early 20th Century theatre practices. Plenty of sections up for grabs!

I had a lot of fun with this story and would be interested in reading Chapters 11: The Seamy Side and 12: A Counterplot if they're still available!

I run it through the noise reduction (set at 16) every time. Do I need to set it higher? or is there something else I can do? Nancy
