Hi Tricia,
When I claim sections, I usually only claim ones that I can jump right on and get done. I am now involved with a Solo project and one small section I couldn't resist, but with that being said, as I was 'trolling' the forum I came across this book again, and as I looked at the sections, I read through a lot of sections 34 and 35 and they sounded very intriguing, so I would like to claim both of them if I might. It will be a while, I think, but for sure I will get them done in much less than two months.
Thanks, Wayne

Hi Tricia,
I am getting to the end of my Solo, and I really don't want to miss these two, so could I please claim Sections 26 and 27?
And along that line, I hope you are planning, after this one is completed, to do: https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/14418 .
Thanks,
Wayne

You're in for 26 and 27.
Regarding Thrift: maybe. After doing Character and then this, I'm getting a little Samuel Smiled out and might need a break. Of course, I could BC it and have someone else DPL...

Good Afternoon Tricia,
I just wanted to submit the 3rd section before my 2 month window is up.
Anyway, I finished uploading the section "National and Individual Chapter 2." It clocks in at 31 minutes and 59 seconds overall.
Here is the link to it.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Micfairy252!

Help is needed!
I would appreciate if someone could tell me what the small L is short for in the text, I have section 6. Seems to be some kind of currency.

Pounds, probably. (British currency)
l.s.d. is pounds, shillings, pence.
(Sorry for the delay. We were at a work day, and I was away all morning and early afternoon.)

Tricia,
Here at long last is section 26: https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/selfhelp_26_smiles_128kb.mp3
Time 28:20
And you were exactly right on the "l" . I lived for a while in England in the 'old days' (pre decimalization). "LSD" was a commonly heard back then, and it was really funny, as LSD also had a different meaning in the 60's when I was there. And with the 12 pence to a shilling and 20 shillings to a pound, it took a while, but I was finally able to add and subtract in my head, but couldn't divide .
What kind of through me off in the other reading is it was referring to India in the early 1800's and it was written as 100,000l rather than £100,000.
