Your recording is still too soft, coming in at 81 dB. I don't hear any muffled at all. I amplified it by +8 and it still sounds clear as a bell. So It is still better to increase the gain going into Audacity if that is possible, rather than messing with it afterwards. This means getting closer to the microphone and using any gain buttons on your mic. Your voice is still great. Oh, and most people try to keep the Audacity volume slider about midway or perhaps up to 3/4. Not sure why. So please amplify that file by 8 and submit it again and i will PL it for you.

Chapter 2 is Ab-Fab, clear voice, great reading...
so good that the PL'er can nit-pick
at 5:14 you say "through you" rather than "to you" - small issue, and will let Cap't Phil have the final say.

It is in the final line of the paragraph which begins "Of course you have..."
and is in this sentence:
"And, when it came, I at once called for my White-White Horse and, as you know, came *** to you *** through the skies as you slept."

It's telling me that the video is unavailable: "This video is private."
Initially it asked for a Google mail account, but I don't have one. So, for now it seems you'll have to do the MW updates.

Fires are getting closer and I'm trying not to freak out, so may try to work on some of the readings that I've committed to today as a distraction. Feel free to assign another PL, in the meantime.

I guess I made it private because it needed to be updated and then forgot to do another one! Just having too much fun here I guess. <sigh> Many thanks for your PLing. Chapter 2 should be fixed to make the meaning clear. So please do that and upload it again with the exact same file name so it will overwrite the earlier one. Then just post a reply in this thread "chapter 2 fixed and uploaded" and I will check it out.

Took a Large Liberty -- won't do it again, I promise. But I did want to hear how the story turned out, so I listened to the concluding two chapters.

Chapters 25 and 26 are absolutely charmingly read, and PL

of approval. HOWEVER, I did not hear the 5 seconds of empty space at the end of either one. Cap't Phil: what sayest thou?

And I seriously DO promise not to jump in, unauthorized, ever again.

PL Notes for Chapters 25 and 26. Everything OK, just add about 5 seconds of silence at the end of each of them, export with the same file name and upload 'em. Then just post a note in this thread saying you have done that.
