Your reading of the text was excellent. It really sounds like this in not the first time you have done this sort of stuff.
You will be a great addition to Librivox.
There are a couple of technical things that you could look at. At the beginning of your reading (I am assuming you are using Audacity) you can see that there is some noise there plus a little at the ending. Using Checker (
https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker) that noise and background noise shows up. Using Checker and looking at the results there, you will see that the 'background' noise is a little over 39. Forty is the 'limit' for LV with the goal of 25-35. I don't know if you are familiar with or have used the "Noise Reduction" part of Audacity. If not here is a great little video about how to use it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwppSFAuGr8 The one thing I would add in our cases is to look at your recording and pick the noisiest section to use as the 'Noise Profile' then run it through as shown in the video. The check it again in Checker. I find that occasionally I will need to "Noise Reduce" the recording again. In that case I go to non-speaking sections of the recording and see if I can hear anything through the headphones, then I use that as the profile.
One other thing, you have about eight seconds of silence at the end, could you reduce it to five seconds?
Get those little things straightened out and you will be ready to launch into the wonderful world of Librivox
