If OK to claim section 11, The Sea Farmer Part 1, here is the recording.
I would like to claim section 12 as well, please.

Thanks! Yes, it's OK for you to claim them.
How would you like to be credited in the catalog? There are places for a catalog name (some use a nickname or forum name, some their real name) and a link to a personal web site or blog, if you have one. I recommend using whatever name you say (if any) when you say, "recorded by [your name]" as that's how listeners will look for you. (Keep in mind that prospective employers, classmates, enemies, etc. can also find you using the catalog name, so be cautious if privacy might be an issue.)

I ran the file through Checker; haven't listened yet.
Bit rate is variable; it needs to be 128 constant. This is set when you export to MP3. When you go to export, on the screen where you enter the file name for the MP3, change the Bit Rate mode to Constant, and the quality should be 128 kbps. You should only have to set it once; it'll remember the setting until you change it again.
I'll listen to 11 to make sure there's nothing else that needs changing, but I wanted to post this quick in case you're working on 12 right now.

Section 11: Well read! A couple minor edits:
4:05 - repeat: "the pilot saw the crushed mess-- mess-room door"
12:39 - repeat: "and scratched refl-- reflectively his mop of sandy hair"
20:00 - stumble: "and at two fff-- photographs on the wall"
End silence is about 8 seconds; only needs to be about 5.
Bit rate needs changing, as mentioned.
You do have a lot of spots (in the speech, especially) where your breath is directly hitting the mic, causing distortion. Move your microphone a little bit to the side of your mouth if a desktop mic, or a little above or below your mouth if a headset mic. This will help the air pass by the mic instead of directly hitting it.

Ok, have a look at section 12. I am sure there a few stumbles in the language.
I think I did the export correct, though.
Thank you!

Hi Tricia,
Sorry this has/is taking so long .... this was quite tricky to read in places so I may have not got it quite right, but I hope I've preserved the core of Jack London's wonderful writing.
