When you say "new recording" do you mean you made corrections, or did you rerecord the whole thing again (something I don't want you to do if all you need is spot corrections)? Because then I would have to listen to the entire recording again.

One note for readers, Punch and Roll recording is a very nice feature in Audacity. If you haven't tried it, I would recommend looking into it.
