Hello, I'm having a technical difficulty reading the text on my iPad - for some reason the book comes up as a black screen only... I will restart iPad and try again but thought you may have an idea? Thanks!
hi Linda, right above this, Colleen gave you tips on how to open the PDF. But maybe you could try again to open the regular archive link on the first page. Because this afternoon I had trouble as well with archive, and now it works fine. You were able to access the Gracian archive text, so this one should be just the same. :hmm:

Let us know how it goes. If all else fails, I can send you screenshots from your sections. Just let me know :) We will manage somehow.

This little story made me laugh and cry! Unfortunately I identified more with the Coyote...

Not sure how to pronounce Tewan numbers but gave it a go - also not sure of Tappan pronunciation. Happy to redo if necessary.

Warmly,
Linda

Here is the re-recorded version
https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/worldstory_volume12_86_tappan_128kb.mp3
oh, you say re-recorded, does that mean you re-recorded it all again ? Or only corrected the spots ? I need to know whether I should correct it all again or only the errors I listed.

Sonia
Oh, no its ok I meant just some places that I had to fill in.

Thanks

:? aaaah I don't like stories that end with the death of an animal. And I agree with you, I also root for the underdog most of the times. We also have folk stories here and it's always the wolf that is outfoxed, I don't like these either. If at least he hadn't died in the end...

Well...can't be helped, you did narrate beautifully, I loved the "in character" speeches you did here, makes it all so lively. Which leads me to think that you may enjoy our drama group, have you ever tried participating in a stage play here ? It's great fun (I'm very active there). I think you are expressive enough that you fit in there right well.

For this section, you only missed the footnote. I wanted to include all the footnotes in these sections, as they are usually interesting added info. (see second post on how to read footnotes).

> at 3:57: (p. 74) Could you please insert here: "Footnote: The sacred drum used in the pueblo dances - End of Footnote"

the rest is perfect, thank you ! And looking forward to your next section :9:

yes it is an older text already, but I think you read it extremely well, it doesn't sound antiquated when you narrated it. Flawless reading and PL ok. Thank you again, Piotr.
