@Jim, Kiki and April: thank you for all your sections. Will probably PL tomorrow though, it's getting a bit late here and the sections are long

I at least managed to get one section PLed still tonight. A very interesting chapter in war history. And flawlessly narrated again, thank you Jim. PL ok, without a doubt. :)

here it is, with footnote! thank you :D
thank you, but (sorry for being picky  ) : I meant for the footnote to be introduced as well, so please also say "footnote" and "end of footnote" before and after (actually everything I underlined in my previous note).

Also, since you are reuploading anyway, please be careful with the filename, it's "worldstory" not "worldhistory" ;)

thank you

with the footnote, noted !
 how could you have done this so fast ? but yes, now all is in and PL ok. I will correct the filename in my folder, no need to reupload :) but careful with the names, they need to be standardized. The easiest way to avoid spelling mistakes is to copy/paste the example in the first post and only replace ## by the correct section number :)

thanks

Sorry ! Yes I saw you wanted footnote right after I made the wee edit so appears I redid it fast :D
Got it on the file names, thanks. Where is drama group? I'm curious!
Warmly,
Linda

super ! it's this subforum: viewforum.php?f=27
Warning though: it's highly addictive

I am DPL in many of Todd's projects, so chances are we may see each other again in them. I would suggest you start with a shorter role, just to see whether you like the process. It's got a little bit special rules, but on the whole it's great fun.

see you around

Section 80 - Bunker Hill

Quite a nice poem. Vivid description of the battle. And I love the bit at the end where she says "and that's why i'm Grandma, and you children all are here"

The cave dweller is certainly an interesting person as will be known by listening to this audio. :D
sorry for the delay, April, but I finally had time to listen to the long section. And yes, I agree, I also love to hear about how the early men lived their every-day life. So interesting. And a perfect reading again, straight PL ok. Only in the first half I hear a bit of a background chirping, I think, maybe a bird ? :hmm: In the end the sound is gone, and as I think it's not that disturbing, we can let it in. Makes even a good background sound to the cliff dwellers, who probably heard such bird all day long too.

thank you, it was really a long section, good job.

haha, yes it's great to have such a surprise ending ! I guess this is the first time you are acting out a grandma in drama, Alan  well done. I loved the metre of the poem, reminds me a lot of the long lines in Poe's Raven. A great rythm.

Totally PL ok as well, thank you.
