Wow! What a wonderful project!!!

I will take chapter 17 and start working my way forward from the end if that’s okay.

It seems the book has a chapter 18 “FINNEY ON SANCTIFICATION AND ITS RESULTS IN OBERLIN - COLLEGE HISTORY - CLOSING PICTURES“. I am not seeing it in the magic window.

I am very excited to be a part of this project.

Well, welcome back to LibriVox!

And, thank you for the observation about the missing chapter.
I don't know if I didn't get it on my original set up (a spreadsheet lost in a HD crash) or just didn't get it in the MW. Tnankfully it is an easy fix. And, such an important chapter to leave out.

So, do you want to take Chapter 18 as well?
I've put you in for 17, so just let me know if you want to change or add anything.
Glad to have you with us.

Thank you!

I had some crazy life stuff that took me away and then it was just kinda off my radar. I'm definitely excited to be back. Especially with a book like this!

Yes, I can take 18 as well. 😊

Well, we all know about crazy life stuff, that's for sure!
I had a short LV hiatus a while back, too.

Anyway, I'll put you in for the newly added Chapter 18.
I usually have a few similar projects going on in a similar vein.
I think I sill have an open section in sermons of Catherine Booth, the book taking the title of the first sermon, "Aggressive Christianity." viewtopic.php?f=28&t=81122
And, I have a biography of Philip Melancthon viewtopic.php?f=28&t=78403

Great chapter and great reading.
Too bad when revivals interrupt plans!

Could I do chapter 6? I just moved a year ago from Rome, NY where I pastored! My pastor's father was a Nazarene pastor that pastored at the church in New Lebanon where Finney had a trial!

How interesting!

My roots are on the west coast where my father, grandfather, and great-grandfather were all Nazarene pastors. In fact, the latter was one of the early General Superintendents who worked closely with our founder, P.F. Bresee. So, I'm fourth generation Naz pastor, supposedly retired. Been around the country and world, but I guess we're settled here in New England, at least as home base. Recently got a short return trip to Haiti where we served for four years, but hope for a visit to Korea where we were for nearly five years more recently. Still preach every chance I get, of course. :D

Oh, and you have 6, with thanks!
