Hi! My nearly 10-year-old computer has begun showing its age and is a laggy, buggy, crashing mess. I've ordered a new laptop, but it'll arrive around the 12th, and I'd need about a week extra after that to be able to record. I hope that's okay.

While my new laptop still hasn't arrived yet, I've gone ahead and recorded some of the chapters (editing and uploading soon). I noticed that sections 11 and 12 are still unclaimed, so I'd like to pick those up as well. That way, we can finish up the project.

My apologies for missing this post. Great job with the reading. Two little corrections needed.

1. at the beginning, it should read as "Part 3, chapter 7" not the section #.
2. at the end, about 0.5 seconds of silence should be removed.

PL Notes for Section 8

Part 1, chapter 7: What became of the Imported Slaves - has 3 small corrections:

1: Need between .5 and 1 second at the beginning

2: At 7:12, "we may put it in 1860" is repeated

3: At 13:26, you have "sir", should be "senhor"

Part 3, chapter 4: The Emancipated Negro will make the South his Home needs two easy fixes

1: The filename needs to be corrected to thewrongofslavery_20_owen_128kb

2: There needs to be about 4.5 seconds of silence added to the end
