I listened to both sections that you have read - section 32 and section 48. Both are now PL OK.

Many thanks for your contribution. My apologies for the slow reply.

N.B., your reading is beautiful, I especially appreciate the nice recitation of poems in your reading!

Regards,
Jessie

I'll do 48. After Saturday I won't be able to edit for a couple of weeks, that's why I ask re PL.

PL note:

One little feedback on the 32:31 recording for Section-33:
17:15 - 17:17 repeated "wanted to talk to" in "One reason was, Endy, that I half guessed Mr. Simlins wanted to talk to me"

The rest is all perfect, as always. Many thanks for your contribution!

Regards,
Jessie
(Sorry that I did not find your post of section 33, though I do remember read it once.)

I also listened to section 43 (17:13), which is now PL OK.

Many thanks for all your beautiful efforts! I sincerely look forward to your future readings in other projects, as well!

Jessie

yes, thanks Jessie!
I asked my librarian about the noise, and she said, "no one would come here
if they weren't allowed to talk out loud." So I read out loud.

Je lis à haute voix car refléchir fait trop de bruit!

It is PL OK!

Many thanks for your patience and efforts! The final version I see is 32:52 and is perfect!

Regards,
Jessie
UPRG11W wrote: September 15th, 2021, 10:13 am I still see the length as 38:46, which means we do want to trim off the extra of 32:50 - 38:46.

More important is, please correct the chapter number. Though the section of your reading is 49, the chapter is 46, instead. at 0:27 it is announced as "chapter 49", while it is "chapter 46 (section 49)".

Jessie

Just wanted to make sure. Greatly appreciate the feedback.

Thank You

PL note:

Feedback on Section 44.
4:30 - 4:32 repeated "and in which" in "and in which hers was to be by his side"
16:27 -16:28 There should be a 5-second silence at the end of your recording, not just one second.
2:18 missed several sentences before "I am well."—Nothing could be quieter in its kind. "Did he tell you what he is going to do to-morrow, Pet?"
The skipped sentences are quoted here.
""Faith! you dear child!" said Miss Linden, "what have you been doing with yourself—or what has anybody done with you, to stow you away here like a forgotten parcel?" She had entered the wagon no further than to rest one knee there holding both Faith's hands and looking at her with full, bright, loving eyes. "How came Endecott to leave you here, alone?"
"Two people must be alone—if they are not together," said Mr. Linden.
"Pet, shall I put you in or out?"
She laughed, jumping into the wagon then and twining one arm about
Faith's waist, much like a spray of woodbine.
"What do you think I have asked him?" she whispered,—"and what do you think he has told me?"
"I don't know," said Faith;—"but I guess."
A significant clasp of the woodbine answered that—then the hand rested in a quiet embrace.
"How well he looks!" she said, her eyes taking glad note of one figure on the seat before them. "Faith, how are you?"
"

Also, it seems that at the beginning of a paragraph sometimes your volume is a bit low if you could please pay attention to it.

All the rest are perfect!

Jessie

PL note:

One little feedback on the 19:55 recording for Section-40 (Chapter 37):
19:50 instead of "Section-40" it was announced "end of Chapter 37". Please change it in order to keep the format of each section consistent.

The rest is all perfect. Many thanks for your contribution!

Jessie
