That sounds really interesting; I've been reading a bit about her on Wiki, what a long and varied life! And I like it that she was such a late bloomer; moved to France in her late thirties, married and had her son over 40, for the events of this book she must have been well over 60 and published it even later, then went on to do more public work during WW1 and lived to 90, into the 1920s. She's been quite a find; are there any plans to read any other of her works? There are several more on Gutenberg, I'd be up for it!

I have at least one more of her books on my gigantic list of bookmarks of possible projects....but it’s a very long list and will probably depend on a whim when I’m deciding to start a new project....if you are wanting to pursue any of her other books, go for it, I will look forward to hearing them!

A fine reading! Just two issues to correct. There are repeats at 14:47 (two or three) and at 16:29.

Time: 31.42

Racing to the finish now! Her franglais is getting almost out of control in this one, it gets quite hard work switching between accents several times in a sentence! :? Still, I've got rather fond of her by now, she does seem to enjoy her life so much!
You did a wonderful job with the Franglais! PL OK!

One note: We make a custom of closing footnotes with "End of footnote," but the transition here is quite clear.

You know already about the incorrect introduction and I'm sure you'll get the file name done properly. That's all that's of real concern.

I would like to recommend that you truncate the pauses a bit. I'm not a role model, but I rarely have pauses in prose pieces that are more than a second in length. 1.5 seconds works in many cases, and more than 2 seconds can sound terribly long. But you seem to know what you like. It's really up to your taste and, possible, the wishes of the BC.
OK have amended the start and gone through and truncated some of the more egregious pauses :)

20'52"

So nearly finished!
My apologies for having you wait so long for me.

PL OK!

Wonderful job!

Thanks Kevin - I saw the note about 'end of footnote' after I'd done it, and was expecting to have to re-do it, but thanks for letting me off! :)

Colleen, I have made the edits to Section 8 on your advice. It is now ready for its Spot Check.
