Thank you, all! Section 20 is now PL ok, and the MW should be up to date. Please let me know if I'm missing something. :)

Please let me know of any issues.

Thanks,

Thanks so much for this chapter. I loved listening to it. I especially love that prayer near the beginning: "Keep me, my God; for my boat is so small and Thy ocean so wide."

There is only one small correction to make. You have two "End of chapter 29"s at the end. Please cut one of them. :)

Hello.
Thanks for the feedback. Listening again, I completely agree about the long pauses, so I have done some pruning...

Section 19. Time 28m51s

I am a relative newbie, so advice and comments are very welcome; still on the learning curve!

Cheers

Yes, that was a beautiful prayer.

Here is my corrected file with only one ending:

Ah, ok. Thank you! I would have actually preferred that you only trimmed those few spots I pointed out, but that's ok since it's already done. Since you made edits throughout the whole recording, I will now need to listen to it all again. (Luckily, I enjoyed it! :D) The reason is that it is possible that some words or parts of words might have accidentally been cut off while you were pruning. It seems unlikely, but it has been known to happen in the past. I won't get to it tonight, though. Thanks for waiting a little longer!

EDIT: It just occurred to me that your section 30 is also waiting on PL. Do you think you might want to trim that one too? If so, please let me know, and we'll wait to PL it until after you've checked that you're happy with it.

These are a joy to read!

Joan
Nice reading, Joan. :) There are some very poignant illustrations in here. The text is all fine, but you'll need to adjust the opening and closing silences.

Needs about 1.5 seconds of silence cut from the beginning and about 1 second added to the end.

Greetings -

Lomond is back in his listening laboratory if you want him to resume PLing this book.

I am home from the wild fire evacuation site and have been making peace with the sandman as I ignored his beckoning on many occasions during the last two weeks. Lots of volunteer hours but I would do again if it was needed. I hope I never take fresh air for granted again.

Welcome back, Lomond. Glad you're safe and finally able to get some rest!

If you are able to get back to PLing for this book, then it would definitely help. I've been able to take care of some of it, but my listening time is rather elusive lately, and we have a fair-sized backlog waiting for PL. :? I don't mind doing some more, of course. This is a great book! Ah, but then there is my enemy, Time...
