heyyho,

ready for pl:
https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/essaysonart_25_goethe_128kb.mp3
19:22

that are 19 minutes of reading a table with some comments, more or less.
ancient greek names - i tried to pronounce according to wikipedia in ancient greek, or english, or german.
i fear, it is not fun to listen to.
i chose the hard way and edit the first recording of it.
i'm sorry :? :)

well, let's see.

cheers,
wolfi

we won't get into the catalogue in march, but for sure in the beginning of april.
i'm sorry about that, but real life is interfering and.... it is better like that, in this case.

Section 25 is PL OK! The names are understandable, whether you pronounced them in Ancient Greek, English, or German. Great job!

heyho,

section 21 is - finally - uploaded and ready for pl!

https://librivox.org/uploads/alg1001/essaysonart_21_goethe_128kb.mp3
Track Length
14:25,80 (m:ss.ss)

i have re-arranged the intro of the readers a bit, the title + subtitle comes first and then the readers/role intros.
to my humble opinion. it really fits better after ...title - a dialogue...
and so, the intro is "complete" with section, title; the title is complete with title, subtitle; and the dramatic reading hints are complete with the subtitle "a dialogue" and the roles..

i hope, this is ok!

cheers,
wolfi

Is the project ready to be cataloged? I just want to confirm before going ahead with anything.

Hi Wolfi,
I want to make sure I have this right before I start cataloging. I don't want to confuse anything. Are the readers for the miniplay in section 21 right? I entered them so I'm not sure if they are right. Does the rest of the magic window look good? I deleted the sections for the roles. I did save out the files if there is something that was deleted that should be there.

Uuh i am sorry these were the first DR's as a BC. You need the Cast lists for both...

I will write them asap!

The sections for the roles can get deleted - i will have a look at the last sections while writing the castlists

i apologize, this was not my best effort bcing and i added to your workload!

1.) the deleted sections are ok, the last section of the book is:
50 Upon Dilettantism - Part 7 shreyasethi 6:38

2.) i updated the reader lists in the mw for sections 16 and 21

3. i add the two castlists in html to the summary (once again updated - i am not the best in english and...well... )
for easier handling, here:

Essays on art, letters, thoughts, aphorisms - Goethe's thoughts were dealing with artworks of every branch of arts. He addressed many aspects of the artistic process and described his impressions of works of arts - and even dilettantism - in his essays. Being one of the great masters of german written arts, Goethe used his own skills to express his thoughts: while Section 25 is more of a commented list of pictures in a gallery, two other sections are dramatic readings. Furthermore there are letters, talks and thoughts to entertain - i hope, these essays may function as a worthy treasure-chest for the interested.
S.G. Ward translated this fine selection of Goethe's publications around these topics. - Summary by schrm
