I had a listen, and indeed I think it sounds a bit confusing. Without a text a didn't understand much. :( I think it's better to keep only one voice. In another poem I also played "the mothers" and only left one voice. It's ok to do that. Merging is very difficult to make it sound understandable.

What I often do with spectral voices it using a slight Reverb effect. Have you tried that ? It's under the Effects menu. It sounds cool and ghostly usually.

Thanks a lot for the feedback and useful suggestions. I took the most "spectral" of the four voices I did, added a sligth reverb and I think now it sounds spooky AND is understandable

I simply reuploaded the file, just to be safe, here's the link again:

I have three more DRs for you and also a question concerning section 94 - Lord Lovel: Is there a certain melody the text should be sung to or can I just read the lines?

...only after posting the links here I realised that I messed up the filenames somehow  Do you want me to change them or is it ok because they're only parts of the DR anyway?

Thanks for listening and for putting up with me!

I at least didn't sing mine, just gave it a bit of a sing song rhythm with this end-repetition Nancy-cy. But the rest I was speaking

no it's ok, since they will be deleted anyway later on. Only the final file name is important. No worries :)

I'm very sorry but I just realized that I made a mistake again! For #86 I recorded "the wife" not "the lady" even though I named all the files correctly  I'll rerecord / reupload the correct part as soon as possible!

And here's the narrator for #101 - Marmion and Douglas, which makes this part "ready to edit", I think. :D

I'd be happy to do the editing, if someone could PL my part first?

DEAL ! thank you Kati ! Your narrator is perfectly PL ok. So if you could PL the other parts while you edit, this will be super. :9: And then Anthony can check the final edited whole.

Hi Adam,

I just listened to your "Marmion" and it's really well and very expressively read! There's one small bit that might better be corrected, I think:

At 01:29 I hear "Lord Agnus" where it should be "Lord Angus"

Adrian's reading was great as well so I'm really looking forward to editing this section :9:

Yes, I guess Agnes sounds more like an old lady and not a fearsome Scottish warriour! Fixed. Same length. 1:37

thank you Adam, I put you up for 87 and 89. You can if you wish PL the parts already, but you can also wait until you stitch them together.

Here's Section 101 - Marmion and Douglas. It has been great fun! And thanks @Adam for the edit - although I know a "Lady Agnes" who might be just as fierce as a Scottish warrior
