Section 4 sounds good!
At ~8:55 you repeat "without a little charlatanory--a little charlatanory--to set them off," and at ~18:35 you repeat "but we deny--we deny." Footnote [A] can be read when it apears in the text after "at the windows of inns" instead of at the end of the recording.

Good afternoon -

I had only been doing Librivox for about a week when I submitted Chapter 2 of this. I had occasion to listen to the intro yesterday and noted that I had accidentally said "Spirit of the Age or Contemporary Poets". So I just now reuploaded Chapter 2 and litterally the only change I made to it was to dub in the correct title "Portraits" in the intro. I hope that's ok. Here's the link to the revised and corrected recording: https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/spiritoftheage_02_hazlitt_128kb.mp3

Hey Craig!

I missed my previous deadline  , and I'm writing in to say that I still am editing the file. It's just taking a bit of time - too many bits, really - because of the other recordings that I signed up for.

I'll work on this this week, and - fingers crossed - I should be able to turn it in by this coming Sunday.

Thank you, and sorry about the delay. This spiralled out of my control, and the next seven days should help me bring it back to shore.

Always,

And I'm finally done with Chapter 10! :9: :9: :9: :9: :9: :9: :9:

Here's the link to my recording of that chapter: https://librivox.org/uploads/leni/spiritoftheage_10_hazlitt_128kb.mp3

Track length: 28:55

I've looked at the text and heard myself over a dozen times, Craig; and I hope it's all good.

But should you find an error or three (or God forbid! A bouquet of them!) just let me know, and I'll try to fix them as soon as I can.

Anxiously (but then what's new! :D),
Garfield
