Chapter 17
There is a lot of background noise. Please do some noise cleaning https://sites.google.com/site/librivideo/for-volunteers/recording#11
The file is also outside the acceptable range at 94 dB (89 is the goal, but 86-92 is acceptable). This might be remedied by noise cleaning. You can check with this handy tool (written especially for Librivox, free, simple and safe to use!) https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker
If you still need to adjust the volume, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_z607awyLw
For future recordings, it might be helpful to find a quieter location or take soundproofing measures for your "studio" https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Make_a_Portable_Vocal_Booth

The reading was very good. You just need to pay attention to your environment and post-processingbooklove123 wrote: ↑March 13th, 2020, 3:27 pm Thank you, it was a good learning experience for me (of what not to do)

Has anyone claimed sections 2-4 yet?
If not I would like to record those.
