Linny

Sure will :D I'll be happy to do it as a solo with Todd introducing in Chapter 1. Seems to me that works nicely.

Thanks . . .

Tom

Tom,
Other than section 1 which Todd claimed would you like to do the rest of the book as a solo? The number of sections is really up to you. I'm very glad you are enjoying it.
I have barely started recording the intro - got a cold and too much coughing to make it far between mike-clipping coughs. I'm sure I'll be okay in another day or so (certainly won't hold the project up), but if you want to make this completely a solo, that would be okay with me.

Thanks, Todd

Todd,
That is a very generous offer. I'll let Tom decided.

I sure hope you feel better soon.

Oh, I'm feeling okay, and recording grumpy old guy parts in plays where the rough voice fits in. But this book deserves better than that.

Thanks, Todd

You're a good man, Todd,

I sincerely hope you're feeling better real soon. I'm comfortable either way. How about we wait until we're closer to the final chapter and see how you're feeling. If you're feeling a connection to this story, your doing the "intro" might be an interesting "twist" on producing a book. If not - - - I'm happy to take on Chapter 1 as well.

Linny & Todd - - - a thought just occurred to me - - - if Todd decides to pass Chapter 1 over to me should we be thinking about re-doing the intros for the remaining chapters over to the "Solo" format? Or is it not that much of a hassle to cope with the "long-form" intro through all the succeeding chapters? I don't know what's involved?

(Leave it to me to complicate things ! ! !)

Tom,
Why don't we just keep with the longer intro. That way you don't have to edit and I don't have to spot check.

The recordings are long enough I don't think the longer intro will bother listeners.

Agreed :| Uncle Buck wasn't quite the "loner" he tried to present to the world.

There are, indeed, some very introspective passages in this book.
