Do you mind if I re-do all of Book 1 narrator? I think I would have trouble editing in all the correct pronunciations of Boethius.
Well, I guess it doesn't take long to PL your sections, so it's not that big of a deal for me. But I'm curious what is making it so difficult? :hmm: You're not trying to edit in just the one word, are you? If you record the whole phrase or sentence and paste that in, you should be fine. I wouldn't worry too much about matching the sound just right either, since there'll be so much other speech in between your parts.

That being said, if you really want to do the whole thing over, it's up to you. But I know you have plenty on your plate, so I'd hate for you to take extra unnecessary work.

Book 2 --- Narrator

At 4:42, the line is "enfolded in eternal Night." I hear "eternal Light." This is pretty much the opposite, though an easy mistake to make.

FYI, Files for Bothius books 2-5 are in my upload folder, but not in the MW.

No, I think I have them, MaryAnn, but thank you for the heads up. I think the confusion here is that Kevin named them "narrator", when in fact, Larry is reading the narrator.

Unless I'm missing something else? Larry, did you ever upload the rest of these?

I have the file name as:
sftp://mc@librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/boethius_narrator_book02.mp3

Same for the other sections, just change the book ##.

They are named incorrectly, which is why they're not showing up in the list together with all the rest. If you wanted to rename them so that they'd sort together, I would be fine with it. I'd just have to fix the MW links, but that's no big deal.

No problem, these names give me enough to figure out what project they go to (so they don't get deleted before their catalog by date :) ).
The real tough ones to sort out are files with names like "bob_extraline.mp3"

I told you all not to invite Kevin. He ruins everything.

On a serious note: I can fix names, too. When I record the corrections to my two remaining files, what shall I call them?

 No big deal. The nice thing about DRs is that the file name will be corrected in the end by the editor. So as long as I know which is which, and MaryAnn knows which project it's in, we'll be ok.

The way you named act 1 is fine. You can use that format for the corrections. Thanks!

Yeah, why did you invite the Kevin guy?
Always a trouble maker.
Then, I could come up with some exotic file names, I suppose.
Really, just as soon as I get a little more Dolittle done, now that you have a DPL, and I'll get back to this.

Oh, so then I'll have to edit both my DRs all at once, eh? I see how it is.

I have recorded all the material at the close of the book, in case it wasn't yet assigned. Let me know if you would like it and I will include it with the other edits I still need to make.
Drop and roll!
