Umm, if you're in France as the info by your user name shows, then this book is still under copyright for you. The author died in 1951; it'll be out of copyright in France on Jan 1, 2022. :?

Chapter 8 is PL OK. Nicely read. Though I do take exception to the story itself: part too obvious, other parts not explained....
