atinygoose wrote: March 21st, 2020, 1:55 pm Hello! I claimed #97 and #115 as placeholders for my daughters who are getting their accounts in order. I was looking for short poems, with clear storylines for each of them to start off with. They are almost ready for the handoff and are excited to hop into the booth! Here's their info:

SpiderGwen (cleared and ready to roll) would like to take #97 St. Michan's Churchyard by Rose Kavanagh

and

atinygoose (just turned in her 1-min test) would like to take #115 A Dream Garden by Ella Young (that I called "house of dream" in my original post  )

Would you be able to switch them into my selections, please?

Also, I would like to take (for reals! for actual me - no changies) #119 I will Forget by Alice Furlong

Thank you!!
OK, got it after reading your second post.
Here you go, changes made!
I will also need to know how (or they) you would like both your daughters to show up in the catalog - real name, forum name?

Enjoy!!! :)

PL notes

DanielHCrump
15 - The recording is too loud at 101.2dB. We aim for 89dB with an acceptable range of 86-92dB. Please reduce amplification by 10. When you record this loudly it can lead to distortion. For future recordings you might consider reducing the input volume.

The ending silence needs to be trimmed to 5 seconds.

The recording needs to be noise cleaned.

Be sure to post the file length when you post your revised file.

Dnh1951
16 - Great reading!
The ending doesn't need to include the LV disclaimer again. Just, "End of I give my Heart to Thee by Standish O' Grady. This recording is in the public domain." And if you wish, say: "Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"

22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 38, 39 are all PL OK!

sidaggar
23 - PL OK.

Nettle
40 and 55 are both PL OK. In the future please be careful with your file names.

verycherry
50 - PL OK. Very fun.

AdamBielka
56 - PL OK. Nice accent work.

silverquill
92 - Spot check PL OK.

rosesanddaisies
93 - The opening silence should be less than 1 second. It's currently at 5 seconds, please trim.
Missing text - " Song by John Todhunter from the Book of Irish Poetry, Part II, read for LibriVox.org"

95 - Wonderful reading! This recording needs a round of noise cleaning. Also, it's best to use ambient noise for your ending silence. The generated silence is 'dead' silence and hard on the ears.

Horner94
98 - Well done! The recording is too loud at 94.1dB. We aim for 89dB with an acceptable range of 86-92dB. Please reduce amplification by 5. In the future please be careful with your file names.

Kristine,
I believe everyone with a submission pending received feedback on at least one recording. I'll be back again whenever I have more time or unless you get a DPL.
