So this is my first time...gotta start somewhere I guess
Section 1 please
 Welcome Eitel! Yes you must start somewhere and that chapert is reserved just for you. But first please do your 1 minute test to check your technical specs. Your welcome email should explain how to do that but here is a video on how to do it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlaRY_-bcfs and here is a video on how toupload it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oTSlFSoEeY&feature=youtu.be

There are also instructions in our wiki. Oh, and here is a video about our wonderful forums and the jargon we use http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnxpcbnEjoQ&feature=youtu.be

Welcome again and please ask lots of questions.

hope this works ok...
Thanks. All of your tech specs are right on the button so that is fine but y our volume is low and needs to be increased. We aim at between 86 to 92 dB (89 is the goal) and your recording now came in at 83.4 dB. So I recommend turning up the gain on your software, moving closer to the microphone and in general increasing the volume going into the software. If you are using Audacity there is a slider bar next to the mic icon that can increase this. Your voice is excellent and nice to listen to. If all else fails, you can amplify the file but we prefer the other methods.

So please increase your volume, make another test, call it test2 or somethhing and post it here. I promise to get right back to you. !!! :D

Do you still need a DPL? I would be happy to take that on.

Nice reading. Although the story content and technical settings were fine, this is the last chapter of the book and the ending disclaimer "End of The Laughing Bear and other stories, by Robert Bloomer Hare Bell" needed to be recorded as well.

Well, hello! Thank you!

I'll make the fix asap. Well, tomorrow. That is, I hope. But soon. So, yeah... (Wink.)

Lovely readings, all PL OK. These seem a bit dark to be children's stories, so far 2 of the 3 I have heard have included someone's eyes being removed.
