Yay, I finally finished them all!!!

yay indeed, and I listened to them all now in a row. Excellent epics, all of them. The stories of Rorik and Uffe were wholly new to me, but Balder's and Grendel's demise I knew of course. Wonderfully narrated, all of them. Loved the voices you're giving the characters, especially poor Hrothgar he sounds like the weakling he is always portrayed to be. Somehow I never really liked Hrothgar, he didn't strike me as a forceful king, rather hoping that others would do the dangerous work for him.

Sections 48 and 49 are already marked PL ok.

I have two small edits to note for the other two sections:

for Section 7:
> at 12:28: “this recording is in the public domain” – you say “this work” but this is an optional change, as it’s basically the same. It would only be for consistency’s sake, but I leave it up to you. Just let me know if you changed anything or not.

for Section 50:
> at 9:40: (p. 253) “what he had consigned long ago to earth” – I hear “conquered” if I’m not mistaken, which is a change of meaning here

thank you so much, Monika !!! I think it is nicely read and the plosives are really not that disturbing. Interesting section, the photograph looks a bit creepy, but old pictures often do.

Only one small note, quickly corrected:

> from 0:17-0:21: this pause is a bit too long between intro and story, could you trim this down a few seconds please ? I was wondering what happened till you started speaking again

The rest is flawlessly read.

thank you, Chris, well, better late than never and your section is beautifully narrated and I love your husky voice. it suits the story of the Vikings and pirates well.

The text itself was flawlessly read, but I have a small note concerning the footnote:
