Hi, Elijah!

Well, time to catch up on my PL for this project.

Section 14 needs some volume change. It comes in at 92.5 dB

There are a lot of odd pronunciation, some places with background noise, but I think it passes standard PL

Section 21 does have a few things that I think you might want to correct.

Raleigh -- you pronounce this in different ways throughout the narrative. The correct pronunciation is RAW-LEE
right at the beginning is sounds very odd.

Two that you do want to change, because they are so well-known are:

0:32 Greenwich is pronounce GREN-ICH
0:24 Thames is pronounced TEMS

And, Leicester at

1:02 Leicester is pronounced LESTER
2:48 Leicester - again
4:00 Leicester - again

You might want to check one of the pronunciation sites to get a better idea on these.
I'm not trying to by picky, but only to help you be better.

Oh, and some sound issues, relatively minor and the grand scale.

0:19-21 Loud bangs
0:28 snap

Hi, Gabe!

I see you're waiting for feedback on your one-minute test, so I've posted my comments there. Basically, it is just an adjustment in volume and correcting the file name to use only lowercase letters.

I will reserve this section for you, but let me know how you want to be listed in the LV catalog. Many of us use our real names, but you can choose any pseudonym or nickname that you wish. This is how you will be credited for all of your LV work.

Looking forward to having you with us on this prouject!

Let me know if Gabe has disappeared and I will gladly record Section 54. That said, I hope he does join us and joins in the fun!

Well, that was his last LV post, so I assume he is not going to follow through, and it's been over a month, so I will take you up on your offer. :D

Thanks so much.

Hi Kristine,

I hope I'm not stepping on any one's toes, but......

If flutr87 isn't able to do sections 9 (William the Conqueror) and 61 (Longfellow), I would be more than willing to do those two sections.

Wayne

P.S. As it so happens, I am related to both of them. :)

Larry, would you like me to PL your recordings here? (I think you turned into the DPL is that right?)

I'm still the DPL here... but if you want to PL Larry's sections that's OK.

You wouldn't be stepping on my toes, you'd be helping me out. For some reason I've been finding hard to be on LV lately, so you'd really be helping me out.

Sections 0 and 2 are PL OK!

The length for Section 2 in the MW, however, must be corrected.

Thanks, Kevin.
I've updated the MW accordingly.

Since Elijah has said it is OK, feel free to PL anything else here, but I'll also try to pick up the slack
He jumped in late to help out, and never quite got caught up, as this project moved fairly quickly.

I'll gladly take you up on your kind offer, Wayne. Deadline is up and I've had no response from the claimant.
So, go do your relatives proud. :D
