Elsie, I am so sorry! My apologies. I think you may be right. I'm at a loss to understand quite what happened there, but have taken it as a lesson to be more organised in my file versioning and storage. Have uploaded the revised file here.

Also, I'm see that there are a number of words in parentheses that seem to be explaining the historical vernacular.

Do you want me to read them, or omit them?

One example: p.149 line 7: "but James bade the Duke 'accompany him into that house' (room), where the"

The word in red appears to be explaining that 'house' was vernacular for room.
