maxgal wrote: June 14th, 2019, 12:38 pm Hello,
I'm new to LibriVox, working on getting my first recording approved for the latest collection of short ghost & horror stories.
I'd like to claim section VI, "The Mystery of Kaspar Hauser: The Child of Europe."
For the catalogue, my name is Louise J. Belle.
Thanks very much...LJB

Thank you! I put you in the MW.

Hi Elsie, FYI:
I'm still here!
I have been distracted by a few other projects.
But I'm still on board for Section VI, Kaspar Hauser.
I'm currently researching the pronunciation of all those Deutsch names...

Great job! Just a few PL Notes:

There are a few extra long pauses. Could you edit them down? @ 5:10, 31:52, 38:19, 38:27, 39:25, 41:41

A mistake @ 30:34

Also, could you say “End of Chapter 2” instead of just “End of Chapter”?

Finally, there’s a loud mouse click at the very end - could you delete that?

Many thanks! :D
Done, Elsie and uploaded new file..
Apologies for missing that big blooper! The mouseclick was almost inaduable on my speakers. Am getting a new set of headphones soon, which should avoid such things in the future.

I think you might have perhaps uploaded the unedited audio by accident? I still hear the same major blooper :D

Elsie, I am so sorry! My apologies. I think you may be right. I'm at a loss to understand quite what happened there, but have taken it as a lesson to be more organised in my file versioning and storage. Have uploaded the revised file here.

Sure! I’ll pop over and look at your one minute test soon - as long as no one gets there before me.

Hello!

I'd like to claim section 7 "The Gowrie Conspiracy."

I did my 1 minute test quite some time ago, but haven't done any projects yet.

I would like to be credited as Tom Dakan. I don't have a personal website worth mentioning that this time.

Thanks!

Also, I'm see that there are a number of words in parentheses that seem to be explaining the historical vernacular.

Do you want me to read them, or omit them?

One example: p.149 line 7: "but James bade the Duke 'accompany him into that house' (room), where the"

The word in red appears to be explaining that 'house' was vernacular for room.

Thanks!

Hello! I'd like to claim Section 4 The Case of Allan Breck. :)

(I recently submitted recordings for the monthly poetry collection, but they haven't been gotten to yet. I'd like to be credited as Molly Amundson in the catalog).
