I find that two months of recording almost daily has sharpened my ears so much that small daily noises around the house startle me! It's hard to tell on a track, what noises a listener will notice. There's a clicking from the fan on the computer, the occasional scraping of the mouse, the chime of my pendulum clock ! Glad to hear I can continue to work through all this.

Congrats on all but finishing this book.

Czandra

Thank you, Czandra.

:D :D :D I can see what you mean!

And here it is, ladies and gentlemen: Section 12 reloaded and PL OK!!! :9:

YAYYY We're almost there!

Wow! Life had me distracted for a few weeks. I just reviewed the MW and thread to make sure I didn't miss anything. Holy Cow!! There are only two sections left! This has not been the easiest project. Thank you to our shanghaied DPL and to our readers for all your hard work. I see the finish line ahead!!! :9:
Kind Regards!

possibly, but not till May. Still spring! If anyone else wants them, or one, please go ahead and book it!

I asked my librarian about the noise, and she said, "no one would come here
if they weren't allowed to talk out loud." So I read out loud.

Hello all,

I could have a shot at section 17 - The French Revolution.

I have looked at the issue with the footnotes. I will try to put them in at the end of the paragraph, as most of those are linguistic remarks on the French sections. So it does not interrupt the flow, but does not lose the content either. Let me know what you think when it comes out, and I can leave them in or edit them out.

Have a nice weekend all!

Welcome to Librivox! I would love to add you to section 24!

To get started as a reader, you just need to submit a one minute test. This will help you figure out how to record with Librivox preferred settings and parameters. Once you complete the one minute test, one of the admins will review it and give you the thumbs up to proceed as a librivox reader. Here is the link to get you started:
https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test

Once you get the 1 minute test submitted and approved, hop back over here and let me know you are ready. I will add you to the reader list. Let me know if you have questions or if I can help in any way.
Kind Regards!
CJ

Hello all,

Hm... that is a bit complicated with the French bits. Anyway here comes Section 17 clocking in at 26:36.

https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/oraclesofnostradamus_17_ward_128kb.mp3

Hope that will work for you. If not, please give me a shout.

Thanks!
