Section 1 is PL OK!

And Professor Haskins is a little full of himself, no?
"...experience has shown that college students have at the outset only the vaguest ideas of European geography, and in this and in some other respects it is necessary to do in college, work that ought to have been done in the secondary or grammar school. If the ordinary freshman brought with him an elementary knowledge of geography and the ability to read intelligently, the task of the college teacher of history would be greatly lightened."

Hi - welcome to LV! Yes, I will assign you sections 3 and 4, but please do your 1-minute test first (instructions in your welcome email). This will help you make sure your tech specs are all correct before recording a whole section.

The text for the entire book is here: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/57891
You can always find this link in the top post for any project.

If you want a link right to your section, use the "Text" links in the magic window. Right click and open in a new tab.

Let me know if you need anything more to get started. Have fun here!

Hi Jasmine,
Welcome to LV! Section 10 is all yours. Please let me know how you would like to appear in the catalog (real name or pseudonym?).

Hey, I'll take the remaining sections 5,7,8 if that's okay.
