it took me a moment to get the joke, and then I read the title of your section  yes Napoleon is back, but not for long. He really had a way to work the crowds, it seems. Charisma probably.

Excellent narrative again, thank you ! Enjoyed listening to it all.

I only found one small stumble you forgot to cut out:

> at 8:48: (p. 362) stumble and repeat: "a few francs": can be cut out, along with a lengthy pause before the sentence starts again

the rest is perfect ! Thanks

Sonia

Thanks, Sonia, for your patience! Sorry it has taken forever to get these uploaded. Hopefully they sound OK. My voice was not at its best when they were recorded. :(

thank you so much, Jo, for these three sections. Now I feel bad you had to record them while your voice was hurting :( If it's any consolation, it doesn't sound off in any way.

All three sections are perfectly narrated and PL ok. :9:

Only 3 sections remaining, we're close ! :D

better late than never 8-) thank you, Ting, for this nice recording. Ah, the nobility was so arrogant back then, no wonder that Napoleon managed to come back a second time

Textually all is word perfect, but I have a few small corrections to note:

> at 7:00: (p. 356) “they were so occupied with the contemplation of their own deserts” – here: “desert” means “merit”, so it needs to be stressed on the last syllable (just like “dessert”), otherwise it would mean “an arid place”, which doesn’t make sense here in this context

> at the end: there’s barely 2 seconds of silence at the end, could you insert 3 more, so we have the standard 5 seconds, please

> the volume is a bit over our accepted limits, could you please decrease with -2 dB

thank you !
