Leni,
I'm glad to help out. I have a little more free time tonight so I'll try and get this project caught up.

Shalot,
Chapters 19 and 58 are PL OK

On chapters 42 and 57 please extend the ending silence to ~5 seconds. This will ensure your recordings are not cutoff during playback.

Merendo07,
Chapters 31 and 33 are both PL OK.

Chapter 32 reading is good but a couple of the settings need to be corrected.
Volume is too low at 84.3dB. Please amplify to 86-92db with an aim of 89db.
Sample rate needs to be 44.1kHz

Jennifer,
Chapters 35-37 are all PL OK.

My mind body connection is all messed up. I usually PL for you on a cooking project. I think I need a snack.

Which software do you use to determine the volume? Does Audacity do that in some feature I've never noticed before?
I enjoy reading, and I want to constantly improve. So please, do give me feedback on my tone of voice, my emotion, everything. It's helpful and it's appreciated.

I am sure linny will show up to answer, but I use Checker. You can read about it and download it here: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker

Merendo07,
As Leni indicated I use the Checker program. It's simple, fast and reliable. Our LV video guy, Phil, even made a video on how to use it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkhk0megqHE&feature=youtu.be

Chapter 32 is spot check PL OK :D

Leni, how do you feel I should I read the quotes in chapter 40 (rather early on)? Should I say "quote" and "unquote", or just ignore the quotation marks?
