Thank you for the offer, but this project already has a DPL who has promised to listen to everything. :D
I would not want to step on his toes by assigning a section to somebody else, just because he takes his time - readers do get 2 months to complete their sections, so it's okay if there's a bit of wait for the PLing.

Two ways of finding the PL status of a project:

- projects without DPL have a ~ in the title of the thread.
- if a project has a DPL, then at the top of the magic window it will say so: "This project has a dedicated proof-listener who will listen to all sections: loon"

Have you looked at "going solo"? There are projects looking for help with PLing as well! :D
Cheers, Ava.

Hmmm. Somehow the email notices of new posts in this thread went away for me. I'll check my settings.

Section 3 is PL OK - it's a long chapter! Nice reading of the equations near the end.

Thanks.

Hi Jessica, nice to have you here!

Section 5 is all yours - but remember, "present" means here 43 years ago.

May I please be assigned section 6?

By the way, I think that it might be a challenge to complete this reading in under 70 minutes.

Thanks,

Warren

Welcome back!

You are right, this section is really really long, but it might just work (the cutoff is 74 minutes). Could you just try and see how long the finished product is? If it's not too much over, I have a few tricks up my sleeve

Alternatively - and I'm saying this because you seem to be so attached to this project - you could read both sections of this chapter. If the first one gets too long, you could just cut off a bit and move it to the second part.

What do you think? :D
Cheers, Ava.

I am happy to give section 6 a go and then we will see how long the finished product is. I agree, it might make it under 74 minutes.

I also like your suggestion for me to also take section 7. If section 6 runs over, then I can find a good place to end section 6 and add it to section 7.

So, please sign me up for sections 6 and 7.

Thanks,

Warren

Aah, my evil plans finally bear fruit, mwahahaaa....

Thanks for signing up for the last two open sections Warren! That makes us ready for the move to "readers found"!

Jo -
Section 1 - Introduction - is PL OK
I was a bit surprised you chose to describe Figure 1.1, but it worked out well, and will give the listener a clearer understanding of the 7 areas/questions the authors will be working on further into the book. Well done.
Thanks for the chapter.
