Here is Section 16. Interesting that people started colleges knowing that they would be beneficial for all. Funny business about pseudo-scholars and their antics--sounds modern.

yes back then they were quite multilingual. They had to be to understand each other, since the populace was quite mixed. Though I guess there were many interpreters around to translate for them.neecheelok70 wrote: ↑December 14th, 2019, 4:50 pmHere is 17--almost a comedy of errors with everyone speaking a different language :

Thanks, Sonia. I guess we need to think of slowing down a bit here at this time of year. I am talking to myself, sort of.
if you need some out-time for Christmas that is totally understandable. Come back refreshed next year !neecheelok70 wrote:I guess we need to think of slowing down a bit here at this time of year. I am talking to myself, sort of.

and perfectly narrated you managed the French parts quite well, Jim. And Marie de France's lais are definitely interesting to read. I had them as topic in one of my university courses (a long time ago...)neecheelok70 wrote: ↑December 26th, 2019, 1:24 pmhttps://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/compendioushistoryv1_18_craik_128kb.mp3 22.22 KB

Thank you for your forbearance, especially! Jim
haven't heard back from Mayah again so I will open up her two sections again. I hope she is fine though.
If I remember correctly, Jim, you offered to take any free sections, so I'll assign them over to So now it can be treated like a solo again.

That is so, and I am happy to request to record orphans 12 and 13 to allow it be a solo project. Thank you.
