i have signed you up, your personal catalog page is here: https://librivox.org/reader/12887 :)

have fun with the story and please let us know if you have any questions!
Hi Carolin,
Thanks A lot for setting up my catalogue. A minor correction: It will be great if you could change the pseudonym to "MaliniSarovar" instead of "malinisarovar"?

I have completed the recording for Chapter 18. I am looking for feedback that will help me improve my "accent" to minimize the effect of my native accent. I am in an exercise to be able to handle multiple accents.

Also, I would love to hear how I can improve my tone and the general delivery of the story.

Thanks A Lot

Hi Malini! I have just listened to your recording and it is very good! You speak very well at a good pace which people can understand. You mention that you are working on exercises that will help with your accent which is good and will make some of the words easier to understand. I am used to hearing people whose English is their second or third language and I understood your recording just fine!

There is one thing I need you to do and re-submit the recording and that is to take 2 seconds off the beginning of the recording. We like to see around 1 second at the beginning and 5 seconds at the end. The end of your recording is just fine :) Just clip 2 seconds from the start, save the recording with the same name and upload it with the time and I will check and approve the recording.

Keep working on doing more recordings - you are off to a great start!

Lynda
Hi Linda,
Thanks for listening. I have clipped two seconds off the beginning of the file and uploaded it again. Please let me know in case of any other changes. The duration is 11:29.

Hello Carolin, I would like to read section 8, and I would also like to know the pronunciation for Shimer - is it pronounced SHY-mer, or shimmer?
Thanks!
