both are perfectly PL ok, Foon  now Beatrice Cenci was quite an interesting and tragic figure if the historical facts are to be believed. You can read up the story of the murder here on wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beatrice_Cenci#History

seeing what a nasty man her father was, he somehow had it coming.

Was feeling better, until I tripped over a kerb with my hands in my pockets and head butted the pavement yesterday.
A few beers at my friends birthday gathering didn't help. :(

 have you had your head checked out ? Careful there, such concussions can be mean.

and here are my final two :9: one more DR for you to check, Foon, if you still like to do it.

Oh and the Sack of Baltimore is such a tragedy again :( And the worst is, it has really happened. A very moving poem. I checked up on the tragic events on wikipedia, and the poem is quite true to the story. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baltimore,_County_Cork

seriously ? how funny ! But you recorded it once again, right ? Because we never use the same file twice here on the forum. ;)

And thanks for the PL ok on my section :9:

Will try to PL yours later on, I'm still listening to Craig's files.

Craig: Section 2 and 6 are already PL ok.

Now on to the slaying of Sohrab

And the narration for the Slaying of Sohrab is also perfectly PL ok.That's one of your biggies done, Craig. Wonderful narration, very emotional at the right places and action-packed at others. I think this will be a great DR assembled, you three guys edited together.

Thanks

so I checked your 3 parts and all are excellent and PL ok.

I hope you weren't bored reading the same poem a second time. You could have let me known and I would have swapped with you. I know I prefer not to read the same thing twice. I always fear I will sound too similar to the first version. So did you compare them ? Which one you like best ? I can assure you at least, this one is very very emotional and full of sadness in your voice, it's wonderfully sensitive. I loved it. :9:

And your blood-avenging spirit is quite fierce

Thanks

Yes, I did record a new version! And no worries, I didn't mind. I only realised when I started recording "Hey :hmm: This is familiar!"

I definitely like this version better. It still amazes me how quickly I notice improvements in my readings--I feel like they're getting better every week! :D

haha I had that feeling before. I read through some poems and almost decided for one to claim, because I liked it so much, and then I thought, it sounds familiar and I checked my reader list and yes, I had read it before LOL so I still have the same tastes after all this time. I didn't claim it a second time then

yes I had that as well, when I compare my first poems with the ones I do today  for me the play acting helped a lot with my expressiveness. And listening to all the wonderful readers helped also improve my English. :9:

Question: what is the deal with editing? Is there a particular person who does it or do we take turns?
I've recorded my part for At the Cedars and considering Sonia's lines are already done, I could edit them in when I edit my part tonight?
