[COMPLETE] World's Best Poetry, Vol. 9 (Part I) - kit
and another one from me. A wonderful classic ghost story. I love it.
Craig, I'm looking forward to how you will interpret the Second Mate. I am wondering whether I'm not sounding too relaxed all the time But I thought it would give a good contrast to your ghostly performance. I'll see how it works once I hear your part when I assemble. If I'm not happy with my performance then, I'll re-record.

Yes it was! I think you got the perfect middle ground between reading the dialect as written on the one side, and keeping it understandable for a general audience on the other side.

Sonia,

29, 33, 34, 35, 39, 41, 46
are PL OK
I have two tiiiny comments that could be ignored in my opinion, but considering everything else was word perfect I just wanted to mention them. But they both don't really change the meaning that much, so I'd say entirely up to you.
Section 26:
6:35 I hear "Slackening of his pace" instead of "Slackening oft his pace"
Section 40:
0:55 I hear "the human hoard" in the line "How did it fare with her human hoard?"

I should be back this coming weekend with some recordings. I don't know what has happened to my computer but the sound is all wonky again, I downloaded new drivers for some things and it messed everything up but I think I can fix it, just working on a really bad hollow sound, and now everything records at about 60 dB instead of around 89 like I had it, so I have to do more work to get them nice again.
Regards,

thanks for giving us updates Jason. I hope you can solve the volume issue. I heard from others the upgrade to Windows 10 would result in low volume, that's the reason I still refuse to update my computer Maybe that's your issue too.jasonb wrote: ↑October 4th, 2018, 8:13 pmI should be back this coming weekend with some recordings. Good luck ! If all else fails, you can easily amplify with Audacity

PL NOTES:
SECTION 13 - Othello's Remorse: From 'Othello,' Act V. Sc. 2 by William Shakespeare
What a fantastic reading! I loved it! There is one thing that must be fixed though... After the reading there must be the following;
At the end of a poem, say: "End of poem. This recording is in the public domain." and leave five seconds of silence.
Thank you!
