In re Section 71 - I have no argument regarding the placement of the footnote. I agree it does break up the flow of the poem. I guess I am old school in that you read the footnote where the author placed it, but it does detract from the work itself. I hesitate to remove it totally since the author obviously had a reason to include it. I will move it to the end and see how that sounds.

Thanks!

Greg
Normally, I agree. I'm also old school, but in the convos I've seen in various threads concerning footnotes it seems the prevailing attitude is that they're elective to an extent when it interferes with the flow of the work. In this case, with the footnote being almost as long as the poem itself  I have to agree with moving it or leaving it out.

Here is the corrected Section 71 (footnote moved to the end of poem):

https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/plumpudding_12_morley_128kb.mp3

New run time is 3:06

Please let me know if this sounds better than when it was in the middle of the poem.

Thanks!

Thank you all!

Greg, moving the footnote is entirely optional and up to you. You can leave it as it is if you prefer

:47 I swear I hear chickens.
file name is in the wrong order. The number should come before currie.

It's a lovely reading. The only issues are tech things.

New file uploaded. I think I got rid of the chickens!
How is the hum?
Thanks,
Lauren
