At 5:12 you called the name Segilman, instead of Seligman, not sure if that's a glaring error.
At 5:35 you read occasions, should read occupations.
At 9:19 you re-recorded General idea of a great seaport, but left the original in there.

Also I'm not sure if your mic is too close to your mouth, but throughout the recording there are regular "mouth brushes." I think thats what it is,
Hi! Thanks for the feedback! My mic is not near my mouth - it is at least an inch away. Not sure what you are hearing - I will check it out!

Lynda
I listened to the first ~90 seconds of section 5. It is definitely passable, but I hear the same thing as our DPL'er. A couple of plosives at the beginning, another one around 1:30. Just the sound of the breath hitting the mic. It sometimes doesn't matter so much how close the mic is, but rather what position it's in. If you have it right in front of your mouth, it's easy for your breath to hit it. It sometimes helps to position the mic slightly above or to the side of your mouth. Again though, yours are very minor - just something for you to tinker with. :)

Thanks, Kristin!

I see our DPL has not been online for a month. I can't do much about this until the weekend anyway, so I'll give it a couple of days and see if she is still around.

I can't take on DPL but I had time to help out.

Kristin,
Sections 9 and 14 are PL ok.

Section 15. Wow, well done. 1 PL note:
17:35 – finger snap and repeat that the entire treatment of medieval and modern history to the close of the eighteenth century should be based on English history,

If you end up needing a DPL, I'll help you get this finished. I've some open time as I've just finished up several projects.
