Lynda,

PL notes:
section 5
0:00 I hear "The Sour" instead of "The Sower", which is pronounced as the word sow-er

section 7
0:12 I hear "rose-crete"(?) where it reads "roseate"

Other than that, the readings are fine. However, there's quite some plosive noises through all of them. I don't think it's bad enough to need to be addressed (with the exception of maybe section 9, which has a large amount of "p" and "b" sounds, it seems!), but I'm marking them "See PL notes" for now just so that you see it.
If you feel like they're fine as they are, I'm happy to mark them PL OK, just let me know! :)
Foon - Real life is getting in the way of LV, will be slow until all is back on track, please bear with me!

Readers needed:
Dramatic Reading: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Folklore/legends: Arabian Nights Vol. 11
Play: Zeus the Tragedian

Hi Foon -

Here are the 2 sections back with their edits.

https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/manyvoices_05_various_128kb.mp3 - 1:44
https://librivox.org/uploads/carolin/manyvoices_07_various_128kb.mp3 - 1:19

As for the other recordings, based on the PL'ing that I do and the fact that I have damage to my mouth, I do not hear the P and B explosives that I hear that can be much worse in other recordings. I work very hard to keep them to a minimum and I actually got a new mic a few months ago which helps to minimize them. I feel that they are all fine.

Hi Lynda,
That's fine, as I said, the plosives were up to you if you wanted to fix them, so I've marked them PL OK.
The two corrections are also good now

Hi Carolin -

I signed up for 11 onwards to 24 and I have recorded 11 - 17 already and had finished proof listening to my recordings when I noticed that the assignments from last night when I recorded have changed. Originally you had me assigned to 11 and 12 and now a different person's name is there....

Did you perhaps assign a person to 11 and 12 in the wrong book???

That is what I am hoping as those recordings are done now.

Hi Carolin,

I didn't see Lynda's name in the magic box when I requested the assignments. Please let me know how you would like to proceed. I'm fine with volunteering elsewhere so Lynda's work doesn't go to waste.

thanks!

Gshintri -

You go ahead and record and submit the 2 recordings - I see now that you did request them before I did and I did not see that when requesting the ones I asked for.

Carolin will let me know where I can put my 2 recordings as there always is a random poems collection going and they will be fine going in there.

Besides - I am doing a lot of poems in this book and I should SHARE :)
