Whew! Just squeaked by with that one, didn't I?
 well, I really started to think you HAD forgotten. But thank you so much for that section. It's a big one, I will try to PL today still, but I'm about to have lunch with my family...so that will take a bit of time.

Updating MW for the moment.

another wonderful reading, storygirl :9: And the history of the canal was so hooking and interesting. I didn't know there were so many difficulties and such hostility from the British Government. Well, it proved an enormous success in the end.

Flawless reading all throughout. Well, I did find a tiny little snag, if you wouldn't mind correcting that bit, to make it really perfect:

> at 17:20: p. 236: "coup de théâtre" - a theatrical coup, in French. I hear "coup de detatra" :hmm: , which is not a word at all. It's "coup de te-a-tre"

Thanks so much for this beautiful narration :D

indeed, the cruelties of war :( so pointless. But your sections were interesting to listen to, and they were flawlessly narrated again. So thanks for these, both are PL ok. And we're two sections closer to the end. :9:

I already listened to the first section about the sheikhs. Wonderful to hear all those names spoken with an authentic pronunciation, thanks for that. :9: I also love the lively way of narrating the dialogues, this enhances the pleasure of listening.

I only found a couple of small errors, and some pauses between sentences, which were almost 3 seconds long. For a listener who is absorbed in the story, this feels too long :? so I would suggest to cut the following to under 2 seconds. Best start with the end, so the time stamps all remain the same ;)

> at 2:55-2:58: (p. 310) long pause after “he never walked upon it no more”

> at 4:27-4:30: (p. 310) long pause after “erect and tall”

> at 7:24: (p. 312) error: “and pay the price he asked” – you say “prince

> at 9:33-9:36: (p. 313) long pause after “and paid him the money”

> at 10:03: (p. 313) stumble and repeat: “and from that” – can be cut out

> at 11:33-11:36: (p. 314) long pause after “in the ears of Kaid Abd el Wahid”

> at 16:38-16:41: (p. 316) long pause after “and experience the extent of his power”

> at 17:19: (p. 317) error: “and from which side did they come” – I hear “he came:hmm:

> at 19:13-19:17: the pause before the end disclaimer is also very long

> And finally, maybe you could run one round of noise-cleaning to make the background hum a bit less audible

great job in any case, a pleasure to listen to. Thank you. Will try to listen to the other section later on, but I already wanted to give you feedback on this one.

and the second story was highly entertaining. Wow, I immensely enjoyed the haschisch trip that you narrated so vividly here at the end of the section. Very lively done, one can really feel the hallucinations while listening to the whole thing.

I have only a few short notes, mainly a few cuts again ;)

> one round of noise-cleaning would be good too

> at 0:30-0:33: the pause after title and before the story begins seems also a bit long

> at 13:27: (p. 330) stumble and repeat "basin-shaped" - "ba" can be cut out

> at 16:02-16:04: (p. 331) after "the much-desired sweetmeat": pause too long

> at 18:26: (p. 332) "voices seemed to whisper in my ear in accents of affectionate reproach" - you say "accounts"

the rest was ok

Thanks for these already, Farnood. And looking forward to the next two. Have a nice weekend. :)

thank you for the next two, Farnood. Will try to PL still today but can't promise yet.

As requested, I'll extend your deadline for 80 and 84 to one more month, so till 22 October. Would it be possible to work on them till then ? The project is almost complete and we are only waiting for a couple more.

Thanks
