Peter:
Section 31 was an excellent effort. You hit all the technical specs perfectly. There are a few minor corrections which need to be made, but nothing that requires the file to be re-recorded. If you need help in making the changes, please ask. We're all here to help each other.
In the intro--the Chapter title is omitted. It should be Chapter 8 Myths of Greece and Rome Part 6 (the underlined section is missing.
There are several repeats:
at 7:58 the word "thread"
at 8:16 the word "from"
at 8:49 the word "thunder"
at 9:19 there is an extra syllable which I could not make out.
The end silence should also be about 5 seconds. This one is 3.5 seconds.
Congratulations on your first recording here at Librivox! I hope there are many more to follow.
Many thanks,
Philip

the recording length is 11:30 i forget to put that in
also i inserted chapter title with chapter number both at the beginning of the recording and at the end. I am not sure if you just need it once at the beginning or everytime you announce the chapter number.

Peter:
Your corrections were flawlessly done. (It was not necessary to include the chapter name at the end of the reading, but it was ok...its fine just as it is). Section 31 is PL-OK! Nicely done!
I hope you read more in the project and more here at Librivox. There's always lots of reading to do!
Many thanks,
Philip

Hello! I am new here but I would like to read sections 59, 60, and 61 please
Welcome to Librivox and Welcome to the Project, StitcherElla!
Before I can assign you to a section, you need to complete a 1 minute test. This is not an audition, merely to see if your recording setup meets our technical spec. Should you need help adjusting your set up, we can provide that, too.
Here is information that all new recorders may find useful: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Newbie_Guide_to_Recording
Here is specific information on completing your 1 minute test: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test
Once you have uploaded your 1 minute test, if you will post a message here (in addition to where the directions tell you to) I will see it and can help expedite the process.
I have put a hold on Section 59 for you for the next 10 days (until June 15) to give you time to complete your one minute test. Once you have done that and are cleared to record, I will then assign you the other sections as well (if they are still available).
Also, be thinking of what name you want your catalog name to be (you may use your user name, your real name, or another name). If you have a blog or website that you want us to link to, please let me know that as well.
If you have any questions or things that seem confusing, please do not hesitate to ask.
Many thanks,
Philip
