Thank you! I'd like to do sections 5, 8, and 9 next.

Also, I have an etiquette question as I'm pretty new to Librivox reading. Is it okay if I just keep claiming sections until the whole thing is done? If I'm the only one showing an interest, is it alright if I just finish it off?

Thanks,
Lauren

Hi Lauren,
There is no etiquette issue. Unclaimed sections are up for grabs. It is not uncommon for one reader to continue to do the whole book. I will change it to a Solo project and move it to Going Solo.
Thanks!
Amy :D

Hi Lauren,
I proof listened. It is wonderful, but this one could have done with more editing.
PL notes:
At 3:54 a repeat of “vulg”(arly)
At 5:14 repeat of: “..the anterior part of the oesophagus is very fleshy and possesses the faculty of projecting itself externally,..”
At 14:23 a repeat of “We give the name Physa to small mollusks found in mountains.”
At 17:01, repeat of long piece: “This family is divided into three tribes, ….in the form of a crescent, as in Helices.”
At 23:09, repeat “where it is eaten by the natives.”
At 23:24, repeat “and has the eyes..”
Happy Thursday!
Amy

Hello Amy,
I have a question; for some words in the glossary, page references are given. Do i read them too?
