Your reading is great. Your technical specs are a little bit off though.

The bit rate should be 128 kbps, yours is 64 kbps.

The sample rate should be 44,100 Hz, yours is 8,000 Hz.

To change the sample rate on an existing file, in Audacity go to Tracks | Resample and put in the new sample rate (44100), click OK.

You can change the bit rate when you export to an MP3.

Can you also please trim the silence at the end to 5 seconds?

Yes I know where the settings I had to change it once for my last recording I don't understand how the settings got changed again maybe it's this maybe it's this new version was upgraded from I might switch back to the old version if I can I don't care for the new version

Thanks Larry. Changing versions can be quite a hassle. I'm still looking for things in the menus . . . why did they have to move them around?
