Maud, Part 3 (14:44)
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/maud_03_tennyson_128kb.mp3

And Part 4 .... (12:50)
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/maud_04_tennyson_128kb.mp3

(Like so many other LV recordings - not the one I wished to do, but one that is.)
(Nemo should have read my sections! He wouldn't go for it.)

Eva, this is wonderful!

It's perfect for you, I don't think i could have touched it the way you did. The first part dealing with loss and a touch of madness and jealousy suited me, but as the narrative turns pastoral and the passionate love for Maud transforms the poem, you captured it beautifully!

All right Larry, over to you. I suspect none of us will quickly forget this little toy of Tennyson's.

And that means Helen gets to hear this in the proper order, hurrah.

Eva, with these flowers, I'm giving you my Thesaurus. Please look up:
emotional, impactful, exceptional, superlative, heart pounding tension, perfect voice pitch,
then you will only glimpse how great your performance is.

Helen, you spoil us so terribly!!

Thank you for doing that. :9:

I really love it when we get to work on a project like this together. This one's particularly special! Like Nemo, I'm a little sad my bit in it is over.

Thank you so much for going on this ride with us!

Here is the closing poem.
Not totally happy with it, but never am, I guess.

I had to redo my reading file to the new sections, but now have it set to go,so I'll get the rest in shortly.

sect 13 The Charge of the Light Brigade
PL Notes: two skipped words.
1:35 " Then" they rode back
1:52 They that "had" fought so well

Hi Larry,
Proof listening for this project is Special-Standard.
With the tone/pitch of your voice and your reading style, I did not detect a change in the meter of the poem.
It was very powerful.

I will leave it up to you if you want to make the changes.
What ever you decide is OK by me. :D

I appreciate you good PL so much, Helen.
You have come a long way, and are such a bright spot on LV

I'll probably correct these. It is such a well-known poem that I think we should not deviate. Poets are deliberate in their word choices, and that needs to be honored as a composer chooses his notes.

Hi Larry,
Thank you for the kind words, but I can't take all the credit, when in doubt I seek help. :D
