Hi Carolin,
I'd like to ask, if at the end of Chapter 10, do I also need to read the index, too? Or does Chapter end with :

Touched by the occasion, I "drop into" doggerel:

If you pronounce this book not funny,
And wish you hadn't spent your money,
There soon will be a general rumor
That you're no judge of Wit or Humor.

Thanks!

Hiya, thanks for asking! Please do not read the index! It is of no interest at all to listeners :) "That you're no judge of Wit or Humor" is the last line. Thank you!

Hi Kate,
Chapter 6 is PL OK. What a range of readings! I hope you had fun with it. It turned out great.

Thanks, Linny! it was definitely a fun challenge that found the limits of my range ;)

I love to read, AND my employer matches my volunteer hours with a donation to the Internet Archive, flagged to benefit Librivox.org. How cool is that?

Section 11, Chapter 9

Hello Jan,
I don’t remember PLing for you before. Lovely work. I enjoyed your section.

Please trim opening silence to less than 1 second.

Please extend your ending silence to ~5 seconds.

Volume is too low at 84.7dB. Please increase with an aim of 89dB but at least 86dB and no higher than 92dB.
